Words are often betrayed. Shakespeare's Hamlet scoffed, "Words, words, words." Faulkner's Addie said words were "just a shape to fill a lack." Our God says:

I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, 'Seek me in vain.' I the LORD speak the truth; I declare what is right. (Isa. 45:19 ESV)

We made in his image have powerful reason to speak, as words have power to change that without, and that within.
